Fresh from his performance at SXSW, Jay-Z showed his loyalty to his longtime stylist June Ambrose by attending the premiere of her new VH1 series "Styled by June." Mr. Carter looked sharp in a tailored black suit and open-collared shirt as he sat front row at the screening at New York's Crosby Street Hotel. June helped take Jay-Z from the streets to the boardroom with his GQ look.
"The first suit I bought Jay-Z was an Armani suit because the shoulders were soft. It was a European cut, it was very relaxed," June told Media Bistro. "We slowly graduated him into that executive seat that he was eventually going to sit in. He was an executive on the streets. I was just bringing him into the boardroom."
