Eminem has offered some new facts on his DJ Hero: Renegade Edition deejay-based video game and confirmed the set will feature unreleased tracks from himself and Jay-Z.

In addition to the game's features, Slim Shady also made a playful challenge toward hip-hop pioneer DJ Jazzy Jeff.
"Well what's special about the Renegade Edition is the entire quality," Em explained in an interview. "The original one is silver and this one has gold on it so it looks dope, also it comes with two discs. One is Jay-Z's disc and one is my disc. Some of them may be songs that weren't released as singles as far as Jay's disc and my disc and there being unreleased material on it, that's never been done before. I'm going to be better at this game than Jazzy Jeff, by the way, and if ever he wants to come here and set up his turntables against me, give me about a couple years, but you know, I'm going to be better than him at this game." The limited edition release will also be accompanied with deejay gear.
Activision today (July 29) provided details of its controller and bundle for the limited-run version of DJ Hero, now called the Renegade Edition. The special version will have a black turntable with special gold-effect sliders and other trim. A special hard case doubles as a stand for the turntable itself, bringing up the controller to standing height. CDs from Eminem and Jay-Z will also come with the bundle and offer some tracks that haven't been released before. (Electronica)

Em previously spoke on the "fun" aspect behind the new release.
"I think there's a lot of kids who listen to hip-hop [and] buy video games," Em said in an interview. "A lot of the same audience. It gives the kids a chance to, kinda, get their feet wet with the deejaying experience. Obviously it's a video game so it's not the actual thing, but, it can give you a feel for what it's kinda like for kids or whatever...If this game would have came out back when I was a kid, I would have went to Target and stole it along with my pink 'Alf' shirt...I think that this is kinda a way for kids, you know with Guitar Hero it's like challenging them to be able to play the songs and this is kinda challenging the kids to become a deejay."
