Wiz Khalifa Addresses Drake’s Absence on ‘Work Hard, Play Hard’ Remix

What happened to Drake? Wiz Khalifa is coming clean on why the Young Money rapper wasn't featured on the remix to his single "Work Hard, Play Hard," and the reason is quite simple: Drake didn't submit his verse.

Originally Drizzy was set to appear on the remix with Lil Wayne.

"I went big for the remix. I went different than people usually expect from me," the Pittsburgh MC told Cosmic Kev at the time.

In a recent interview with Montreality, Wiz explains that Drake never recorded his verse so they had to release the remix without him.

"He was supposed to do his verse and he ain't do it so we had to put it out," said Wiz, whose album O.N.I.F.C. drops December 4. "But it ain't no love lost. People get that done all the time in the industry, but yeah, I got boofed."

Young Jeezy filled in for Drake on the final version.

Rapper Nicki Minaj suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction as she kicked off her first U.K. arena tour on Sunday after her bustier slipped down to expose her nip. The curvaceous Super Bass hitmaker was performing at the Capital FM Arena in Nottingham, England when her right nip popped out of her sparkly corset dress during the energetic Va Va Voom, but she ignored the fashion mishap and continued on with the show.

After completing the tune, she addressed the overexposure and told the crowd, "You guys have seen my boobs before. You won't tell anyone, will you? What happens in Nottingham…" The hip-hop star's figure-hugging outfit slid a little too low once again during the concert finale as she belted out her smash hit Starships, but this time Minaj had apparently tried to preserve her modesty in between tracks by placing adhesive tape, decorated with love hearts, over her nipples, which became visible as she closed out the gig.

However, the rapper had warned audience members earlier in the night not to be too surprised if her or her dancers' stage costumes exposed a little more than expected, telling them: "This is our first show so excuse any boobs popping out or any schlongs popping out!" It's not the first time Minaj has faced a nip-slip onstage – she accidentally exposed her breast while performing live in New York's Central Park on Good Morning America last year.

After a busy day of promoting his debut good kid, m.A.A.d city, Kendrick Lamar capped things off with a performance on "Conan." Wearing a T.D.E. sweatshirt and red adidas shelltoes, hip-hop's most celebrated new MC performed his single "Swimming Pools (Drank)."

He received props from his peers including T.I., Lupe Fiasco, J. Cole, Drake, and 50 Cent, who wrote, "It's official TDE @Kendricklamar album in stores today I got a copy.i like da Janet joint, swimming pools, this Sh!t hot."

Kendrick's album is currently No. 2 on iTunes and is expected to debut at No. 2 on next week's Billboard 200.
