Level 6 of the #KobeSystem is about recognizing the beast within, even if you already feel that you're the best at what you do. At this level Kobe poses the question, "Are you a different animal, and the same beast?" It's enough to make even Kanye "The Best" West ask, "What the f*ck does that mean Kobe Bryant?" Press play and allow Kobe to explain it.

Looks like Vanessa wasn't with him when he was speaking in the gym, either! Continue on for levels 1-5 of hilarious ad campaign, the #KobeSystem.

Sh*t Is Real: Hundreds Of #OccupyOakland Protesters Break Into City Hall And Get Locked Up

The Occupy movement is showing no signs of stopping any time soon

About 300 people were arrested Saturday during a chaotic day of Occupy protests that saw demonstrators break into City Hall and burn an American flag, as police earlier fired tear gas and bean bags to disperse hundreds of people after some threw rocks and bottles and tore down fencing outside a nearby convention center.

Dozens of police officers stood guard outside City Hall late Saturday following the most turbulent day of protests since November, when Oakland police forcefully dismantled an Occupy encampment. An exasperated Mayor Jean Quan, who faced heavy criticism for the police action last fall, called on the Occupy movement to "stop using Oakland as its playground."

"People in the community and people in the Occupy movement have to stop making excuses for this behavior," Quan said.

Protesters clashed with police throughout the day, at times throwing rocks, bottles and other objects at officers. And police responded by deploying smoke, tear gas and bean bag rounds, City Adminstrator Deanna Santanta said.

"These demonstrators stated their intention was to provoke officers and engage in illegal activity and that's exactly what has occurred today," Santana said.

Do you think the Occupy protesters are doing the right thing?

United Nations Preparing to Manage Global Mental Health

Brandon Turbeville
Infowars.com
January 29, 2012

In a world where national sovereignty is rapidly becoming a thing of the past, announcements that the United Nations will be taking the lead on any variety of topics is no longer shocking. Indeed, there is a real push across the world to view the United Nations as the ultimate authority on virtually every issue, from human rights to nutritional content in food.

Through decades of propagandizing, the United Nations has developed an undeserved reputation for humanitarianism and democracy. As a result, the vast majority see the United Nations as a benevolent organization which they can call on to defend human rights in their home countries.Unfortunately, national sovereignty rarely enters into the equation anymore, as the average citizen tends to look straight to the United Nations to address their concerns, bypassing their own governments.

As case in point, a recent report by AFP, entitled, “Experts urge U.N. to address mental health,” discusses how a recent article in PLoS Medicine, a reputable medical journal, has called for the United Nations General Assembly to develop a plan to tackle mental, neurological, and substance-abuse disorders (MNS).

The article was authored by Vikram Patel of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and Judith Bass from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health in the United States, among other contributors. They write, “The time has come for recognition at the highest levels of global development, namely the U.N. General Assembly, of the urgent need for a global strategy to address the global burden of MNS disorders.”

They also state that investment is needed in three different, but key, areas – “expanding knowledge about mental health disorders, better access to evidence-based programs of care and treatment, and protection of human rights.”

Although the further understanding of mental health disorders and their treatment is a laudable goal, it is also one in which both the Psychiatric/Psychological complex and the United Nations have a horrible track record.

Indeed, even within individual national boundaries, the Psychiatric/Psychological complex has vastly more authority that it needs or deserves. When one multiplies that oppressive authority with the global jurisdiction of the United Nations, as well as the U.N’s tendency to introduce tyrannical guidelines in its own right, we can see a clear recipe for disaster.

In an excellent breakdown of the situation, the Daily Bell writes,

The ultimate element of this charade (and probably the reason for it) will be a People’s Charter for Mental Health that will provide the opportunity for the elites to create yet more command-and-control bureaucracies.

To begin with these bureaucracies may seem innocent and even innovative. But over time it will become apparent that the UN is setting up some sort of worldwide mental health apparatus to evaluate people’s emotional and intellectual stability.

Worst case – if it gets that far – the UN will try to provide itself not only with the authority to evaluate people’s mental competence but also the authority to send people to mental institutions and re-education camps if they are not sufficiently docile and open to the appropriate level of mind control.

Although this analysis may appear extreme to some, the fact is that it is not nearly as extreme as it may sound at first. Considering the level of control that the Psychiatric/Psychological complex currently wields over our lives, the transition of this undeserved authority from a national level to that of an international body is not at all far-fetched.

Indeed, an authoritarian standard-setting UN-based organization in the areas of mental health would no doubt be an issue for all to be concerned with. The UN has, on virtually every occasion, shown its aptitude toward oppressive legislation, lack of concern for human dignity and individual rights, as well as forcing its guidelines upon the rest of the world by stealth and economic sanctions.

For instance, the standard-setting organization for food, Codex Alimentarius, has consistently forced its guidelines on national governments by virtue of the WTO trade dispute settlement mechanisms. Codex Alimentarius guidelines involve reducing the level of nutrition available invitamin and mineral supplements, allowing for the increased proliferation of genetically modified food, and unlimited irradiation of food products. (See my book Codex Alimentarius – The End of Health Freedom)

U.N.-related organizations like the IMF (International Monetary Fund) are also highly successful at implementingausterity programs on debt-ridden countries like Greece as a pre-condition for more loans, which are themselves nothing more than an increase of irrational debt by virtue of the sacrifice of living standards and tangible physical wealth.

Even the WTO (World Trade Organization), another U.N.-related agency is famous for dismantling any protectionisttariffs or subsidies imposed by nation states upon cheap products being dumped into their economies. It is also well-known for punishing any nation that even slightly steps away from the agenda of globalism.

A U.N.-controlled bureaucracy overseeing the treatment and diagnosis of mental health disorders, addiction, or anything else that would so greatly involve the individual, is without a doubt a recipe for disaster.

The Psychiatric/Psychological complex already wields entirely too much authority over the lives of supposedly free human beings. This authority, as it currently exists, must be taken away.

We cannot afford to give this industry any more control over our lives, much less give international authority to the detriment of national sovereignty.

Cash Money CEO's Birdman & Slim Accused Of Liability In S*xual Assault Lawsu...

Bryan "Baby" Williams and Ronald "Slim" Williams appeared in court earlier this week, facing a lawsuit from an Atlanta woman who claims she was s*xually assaulted in a recording studio bathroom, reports My Fox Atlanta. Nicole Westmoreland alleges she was being given an opportunity to make a business presentation to the Cash Money label, but was instead "exposed to illegal drugs and explicit s*xual activity" prior to the incident occurring.

The man identified by Westmoreland as the attacker was Alfred Cleveland, an alleged employee of the label at the time. The woman recounted the acts in court:

"I was followed into the restroom, where he bit me on the cheek. I tried to pull his hands down, but he turned me around and pulled my jeans down," she testified.

Obviously distraught, she is seeking unspecified financial damages after undergoing treatment at a mental health facility as a result of the aleged s*xual assault. The Williams brothers were not involved in the assault itself, but as owners of the label, are being sought as liable parties. Westmorland claims that she was invited to the studio by Baby. However, Baby left the lobby of the studio before the assault occurred.

Westmoreland believes that the Williams brothers had to have known that Alfred Cleveland was a dangerous individual.

Following the incident, Westmorland claims she was offered $100,000 to not report the incident to police in addition to having her life threatened if she didn't drop the case.

The irony in all of this, is that Cash Money recently signed New Orleans rapper, Mystikal, who was incarcerated for six years due to sexual battery and extortion charges. While Mystikal had no involvement in this situation, it may not bode well for the CEO's when it comes to them associating with ex-convicts with s*xual offenses on the Cash Money staff. Hopefully, all parties can get this resolved quickly and move towards a positive direction.

No one is sure why they did it, but according to reports two teens broke into Atlanta's CNN newsroom and well, just checked their Facebook pages.

Though there was likely another motive for breaking into the building, police caught the two kids around 3:30 AM on the fifth floor of the building.

Each teen is being charged with a misdemeanor for breaking into the building and using the computer.

Unfortunately, they never got the status out due to their arrests.

Donald Trump: The Presidential Race is Hurting Republicans!

Mar-a-Lago owner Donald Trump, who hosted the traditional Palm Beach Red Cross Ball last night, still wants to live in the White House.

Trump taped an interview for today's Face The Nation minutes before the ball and told host Bob Schieffer he hasn't shaken the politics bug that had him consider a presidential run last year!

"I'm still thinking about it (running for president)," the host of The Celebrity Apprentice told Schieffer. "The country is going to hell in a  handbasket. I would have to run as an independent but I'm precluded from running because of the show (Apprentice)."

Trump, No. 128 on the Forbes 400, also expressed his disgust with the current GOP race. He called the back-and-forth between Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney hateful.

"It's Republican against Republican where the level of hatred is unbelievable," said Trump, who quietly wrote a $50,000-check for the Red Cross. "They're hurting the chances to beat Barack Obama."

Meanwhile, more than 500 well-heeled supporters of the American Red Cross descended on Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach Saturday night for the annual $1,000-per-head gala.

The ball traditionally lures representatives of foreign governments. This year, ambassadors from Mexico, Sweden, Denmark, Morocco, Slovenia, Barbados and Trinidad & Tobago made to trip to South Florida.

Incidentally none of the Republican candidates for president, in Florida for Tuesday's primary, were at the ball. U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson made it, as did California U.S. Rep. Ed Royce.

Fawk A “Thug”: YMCMB Rapper Cory Gunz Popped In NYC For Packin’ A Gat In A K...

Isn't it ironic? Don'tcha think??

Looks like Cory is walking in the footsteps of his label President Lil Wayne

On Sunday (January 29) MTV News spoke with veteran Bronx rapper Peter Gunz, who confirmed that his son Cory Gunz was in custody, after being arrested with a loaded firearm. The 24-year-old rapper was handcuffed around 2p.m. on Saturday in his hometown, Bronx, New York where he is now being held. "It was definitely an illegal search," Peter revealed.

Gunz was unable to disclose full details on the incident just yet, but he explained the events leading up to his son's arrest. "I spoke to the arresting officer, and so far, what I'm hearing from him is that they got a phone call at the station saying they should 'look out,' " Gunz said. "According to [the officer], they didn't know he was Cory Gunz. They just saw a bunch of kids following him around.

"What I will say is that the officer that arrested Cory, actually happened to be a cool dude," Gunz continued. "After arresting Cory, sitting down with him and talking, he felt bad about the situation."

Gunz junior was brought to the 43rd Precinct in the Bronx on Saturday, but officials there say he has since been transported to Central Booking, on E. 161st Street in the Bronx.

For those that aren't aware, Cory is signed to Lil Wayne's Young Money label, but is managed by none other than Nick "Goof Troop" CANNON, which adds yet ANOTHER layer of irony to his arrest.

While this is Cory Gunz's first brush with the law, his father is still worried about the potential fallout from a firearm charge. "At the end of the day, there's a reason for everything, but at the same time, in New York, it's mandatory jail time," he said. "To go to a precinct and see your son, your junior, in handcuffs, it's heartbreaking. Anytime you see your child in jail, in the cell, in handcuffs, it's very hard. He's walked down some of the same paths that I walked down, but you never want to see your kids go through what you went through.

"This is Cory's first offense, but sometimes they like to make an example out of rappers and people with any kind of celebrity to them."

Damn Cory! Have you learned NOTHING from Plaxico Burress? Why the hell we're you runnin' around with the gat anyway?? From what we can tell you we're into skateboarding and isht, leave the goon life for the goons kid. SMH
